Danish Concert and Culture Houses (DKK) is an association of the country’s 23 largest and most modern concert and cultural venues.
Each year, the members attract more than 3 million guests to a wide range of high-quality events across all genres.
DKK’s members offer audiences concerts, musicals, comedy, theatre, opera, and dance featuring the biggest Danish and international names, all presented in the best possible settings. In doing so, they contribute to growth and development throughout Denmark. DKK is also part of Dansk Kulturliv – an alliance of several trade and interest organizations within the cultural sector.
The association Danske Koncert- og Kulturhuse was founded in 1977 and, among other things, aims to:
- contribute to growth and development in the industry and within its membership, including by facilitating professional events and knowledge sharing among senior staff of member venues;
- represent members’ interests externally, including through PR and public affairs activities;
- support the development of relevant repertoire and the establishment of new collaborative relationships within the industry;
- support audience development among its members.
